My husband and I have been working and living here in Doha since 2006. In those five years, we spent most of our time inside our workplace and inside our home. During weekends, you would often find us either malling (which does not appeal to us so much because my workplace is inside the mall) or just at home, watching tv.
We rarely go out to explore places within Doha. I basically thought that Doha is nothing but concrete and sand. Now that i get to get out more (cause we need to bring our a year old and 9 months old first born out or else he'll tear our place down) I recognize that there are more nice places here to see here than expected.
It is my first time to visit Hyatt Park. It is located beside Villagio Mall right behind Hyatt Plaza. I think the place is lovely. It proves to be a heaven for our little boy. There he could run freely on the grass, go up and down the slope (there's a small hill inside), watch the birds, fishes and ducks in the pond and enjoy the cold breeze of fresh air while having a hearty snack at the cafe. The place is tranquil and refreshing, i actually did enjoy it too! I guess we'll frequent the place more before the summer sets in.
